Arts Festival returns to Andover

Andover College’s Festival of Creative and Performing Arts returns next month and is set to provide the town with dance, drama, music and art showcases. From Monday 11 June 2012, The College Art Studio, The Lights Theatre and the College’s Theatre will play host to this artistic and creative gala.

The College Art Studio will be exhibiting paintings, photography, sculpture, textile design, graphic and 3D design. The Lights Theatre will play host to a dance show, musical festival, acoustic performances, variety performances and an evening of all things ‘movie’.  Pictures at a Different Exhibition (an illustrated musical adventure) and the play ‘Citizenship’ by Mark Ravenhill will be performed at the College Theatre.

Jan Wise, Learning Manager for Creative and Performing Arts says:  “This is Andover’s very own Arts Festival – a week of artistic indulgence for the town to enjoy.  If you have an interest in the Arts then we really have something for everyone from drama and dance showcases to a variety performance.  The Arts Festival is a celebration and recognition of our student’s work and a testament to the high standards achieved during the course of their studies here at Andover College.”
