A wide range of Christmas and winter illuminations are lighting up Hampshire for the 2023/24 season. From gardens to towns, villages and even a steam train.

Glow Marwell

Selected dates between 24 November and 30 December 2023

Marwell’s majestic grounds have turned into a twinkling wonderland full of fairy lights, magic and delight.

Glow Marwell 2023 invites guests to explore the zoo in a whole new light with more than 250,000 LED bulbs making up the wonderful illuminations. Check out the 2023 photo gallery.

Light Up Sir Harold Hillier Gardens at Christmas

Steam Illuminations – Watercress Line

24 November 2023 – 23 December 2023

Visitors to Hampshire’s Watercress Line can ride the colourful Steam Illuminations train this winter season for a magical journey filled with festive fun.

The Christmas sound and light show, featuring a constantly changing display of colourful computer-controlled LED lights outside and inside the heritage steam train, will run from November to December. Check out the photo gallery from 2022.
