Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Whitewater Silver’ is being prepared to debut at Chelsea Flower Show 2013 and will be available exclusively at Whitewater Nursery and the plant centre at RHS Wisley.

This Rosemary plant is a dense and bushy prostrate variety with woolly white undersides to the aromatic leaves. Subsequently the whole plant has a very silvery appearance, showing especially well in Winter, even in low light. Bright blue flowers light up this amazing looking plant in Springtime and it continues to flower sporadically throughout the remainder of the year. Growing to a height 60cm and with a spread 80-90cm this mound forming plant will have multi uses in the garden.

Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Whitewater Silver is a culinary variety and also highly scented as well as being supremely pretty and perfect for trailing over walls and edgings. Position in a sunny spot in well drained soil and watch this beauty thrive! Even the experts at RHS Garden Wisley have tipped this plant for greatness.

Available to buy in limited numbers immediately after Chelsea Flower Show in May 2013, the team at Hortus Loci/ Whitewater expect this plant to fly out of the nursery.
