The running routes were designed by Steve Cram CBE and ranged in length and difficulty.

Some familiar faces returning to RunFestRun were:
Colin Jackson – Legendary hurdler, multiple gold medalist, world record holder and broadcaster.
Paula Radcliffe – Three time winner of the London Marathon (2002, 2003, 2005), three-time New York Marathon champion (2004, 2007, 2008), and 2002 Chicago Marathon Winner.
CarFest and RunFestRun were separate events but in the evening, people at RunFestRun watched the live music at CarFest.
